Why Fundraise?

Heuser Hearing Institute aims to support, promote and create healthy hearing throughout the Kentucky and Indiana communities we serve. We work in 18 Kentucky counties and seven Southern Indiana counties to offer outstanding hearing healthcare services, educational programs, research findings and parent-infant outreach measures.  For more information on the Heuser Hearing & Language Institute, click here.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life.

​As the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 7 through 16, in communities across the country. How to Fundraise

A fundraising page has already been created for you! Just click the link in your registration confirmation email to find your page. Upload a fun picture, write a few words about why you're raising money for the Heuser Hearing & Language Institute or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, and send your page out to your friends and family, inviting them to donate. All donations are tax-deductible and a donation receipt will be emailed to all donors.

If you raise a minimum of $150, we'll refund your race entry! 

Step 1: Send out the link to your personal fundraising page to all your friends and family

Step 2: Raise a minimum of $150.

Step 3: When you've raised the minimum, let us know by emailing runrivercity@gmail.com with a link to your fundraising page

Step 4: Your individual registration will be refunded! (one individual registration refunded per fundraising page)
