DOWNTOWN DOUBLER CHARITY PARTNER

We have also picked up a charity partner for the Downtown Doubler.  You can help raise funds to keep the Ohio River Greenway (where the race takes place) the beautiful treasure it is.  You can add a donation to your registration or you can elect to fundraise and if you raise $250 or more, we will refund your registration fee!

The Greenway in New Albany includes 70 acres of wetland and bottomland forest for hiking, wildlife viewing and exploration, in addition to multi-use paths and a roadway (Water Street) with an extensive riverfront view.  Future plans call for the path at the river's edge continuing to West 10th Street, marking the Greenway's western boundary.

As caretakers of the New Albany/Floyd County section of the Ohio River Greenway the City of New Albany Parks and Recreation has a mission to strive to enrich the quality of life and well-being of our citizens, visitors, and future generations by creating opportunities for each to learn, grow, and play through use of our various parks and recreation programs.
