Why Fundraise?

Founded in 1984, ACS is Louisville's FIRST and LONGEST No-Kill shelter.  Animal Care Society is a privately funded organization whose financial support comes solely through donations from our supporters and community. ACS does not receive any federal, state, or local government funding.

Animal Care Society speaks for the voiceless and gives animals the second chance they deserve to love and be loved. ACS continually leads by example and provides animals who depend on us the most with humane treatment, proper medical care, and the best life possible until their forever comes along!

How to Fundraise

If you plan to join us for Bark in the Park as a participant, a page has already been created for you -- just click the link in your registration confirmation email to find your page. Upload a fun picture, write a few words about why you're raising money for Animal Care Society, and send your page out to your friends and family, inviting them to donate.

If you aren't able to attend Bark in the Park but would still like to participate in the event, click on this link to register to help fundraise! If you raise $250 ACS will send you a Bark in the Park T-Shirt!

All donations are tax-deductible and a donation receipt will be emailed to all donors.

If you raise a minimum of $250, we'll refund your race entry down to one penny! 

Step 1: Send out the link to your personal fundraising page to all your friends and family

Step 2: Raise a minimum of $250.

Step 3: When you've raised the minimum, let us know by emailing runrivercity@gmail.com with a link to your fundraising page

Step 4: Your individual registration will be refunded! (one individual registration refunded per fundraising page)
